My Story
I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2008. I started my career in pediatrics where I worked closely with children with Cystic Fibrosis. I then transition into the wellness and disease management space where I spent years honing my coaching and counseling skills helping individuals navigate behavior change.
In 2013, while completing my Master’s degree at Oklahoma State University, I was exposed to the concepts of Intuitive Eating and was instantly hooked. As my personal intuitive eating journey evolved, so did my professional one. Since then, I have become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Certified Mindful Eating Coach and Certified Yoga Instructor.
Becoming a mom in 2022, created the perfect opportunity for me to combine all my skills and shift my focus, to not just helping people become Intuitive Eaters, but teaching people how to raise them from the start.
All the skills necessary to become an intuitive eater are also highly involved in raising one. How we talk about food, offer food, prepare food, and talk about our bodies all influence our little one’s relationship with food.
The dinner table is meant to be a place of connection with the opportunity to explore and learn about food. Raising adventurous and intuitive eaters is key to keeping mealtimes enjoyable and stress free. No bargaining, pleading or begging your kiddos to eat. No more separate meals. No more battles.
My goal as an Intuitive Eating dietitian is to help you confidently raise intuitive and adventurous eaters by understanding and transforming your own relationship with food.
